How can I benefit?

There are many ways and forms, of how you can benefit from participation in the ‘Youth Guarantee’ scheme.
For example:

  • developing an appropriate CV and motivation letter
  • getting an offer of the proper training programme
  • getting an offer of an apprenticeship or a traineeship
  • participating in different pieces of training pieces of training, doing different works, working on different projects
  • finding a way of formal validation of any of your qualifications and finding a job

Immediately after registration in the ‘Youth Guarantee’ scheme trained counsellor of the employment centre will conduct with the young jobseeker introductory interview. Using professional methods will complete information allowing to develop Individual employment plan.

It represents a ‘personal action plan’ for getting a new good-quality job.

Taking into consideration why you became unemployed your personal plan will identify what you need to improve to find a job.

If you are well qualified even with some work experience and just don’t have access to an updated list of vacancies, the counsellor will help you immediately orient yourself in a database of vacancies and get into contact with the employer.

If you have applicable qualifications and you need just to present yourself in a proper way, the counsellor will help you to develop an appropriate CV and motivation letter. You may get training in order to improve your presentation and communication skills. And then the counsellor will help you to select a proper job offer from the Employment Service Agency (ESA) database as well as to get into contact with the employer.

If you need to improve your knowledge and skills, the counsellor will profile you in order to define the most suitable occupation(s) for you which are demanded in the labour market. And then you will get an offer of proper training programme delivering you needed knowledge and/or skills. After you’ll complete the training successfully, the counsellor will help you to select a proper job offer from the ESA database as well as to get into contact with the employer. It may happen that the counsellor will establish contact even before a final exam.

If your formal education is meeting the employer’s needs but your skills need to be improved, you will get an offer of an apprenticeship or a traineeship measure. Particular companies are usually directly involved in the provision of these measures which improves the quality of the programme and increases the chance to get a job immediately after finishing it.

And maybe you just need to validate your qualification gained non-formally or informally. Participating in different pieces of training, doing different works, working on different projects we gain throughout our whole life new knowledge and skills in different ways and forms. Often we aren’t even aware that these particular “our” skills are demanded by employers. And even if know it, there is nothing in our hands to present credibly these skills and knowledge. In such a case counsellor will help you to find a way of formal validation of any of your qualifications and then will help you find a job.

In fact, there is a large scope of benefits, just let’s choose what suits you.
